Donor opportunities are:

  • A donation of $5.00 or more will get you 2 free tickets to the museum, once it opens. Just hang on to your donation receipt and present it when you visit.

  • A donation of $50 will get your name listed on the BIG SCREEN SPONSOR TV in the museum lobby where sponsor names will scroll all day long during museum hours, plus 4 free tickets to the museum, once it opens.

​​

  • A donation of $150 will get you a 3 x 4 inch brass engraved tag on our donor wall inside the museum lobby, plus 6 free tickets to the museum, once it opens.

​​

  • A donation of $350 will get you 5 x 7 inch engraved brass tag on our donor wall inside the museum lobby, plus a 1-year membership for unlimited visits, once the museum opens.

​​

  • A donation of $500 will get you listed on 6 x 8 inch engraved brass plaque in the museum lobby, plus a 1-year membership for unlimited visits, once the museum opens.

​​

  • A donation of $750 will make you an exhibit sponsor where your name plate will be attached to one of the exhibits in the museum, plus you will get a 1-year family membership for unlimited visits for your family, once the museum opens.

​​

  • A donation of $1000 OR MORE will make you a founding member with your name plate on a museum exhibit and a life-time family membership to the museum, once it opens.

We will also have a few very special honors to name a Mineral Hall or entire section of the museum in the donor's name. Right now, we expect there to be four halls total, so these names will be held for those contributors of an amount notable enough to have a hall named after them. If you are interested in this type of donation or an estate donation, please contact us.

Of course, some of you may wish to donate anonymously and some may wish to donate a treasured piece from their collection to put on display; both would be wonderful as well. If you wish to do either of these, you may mail your donation to Rockhound Rock Shop c/o Michigan Mineral Museum or drop it off at the store. For those wishing to donate an item to display, please stop in or contact our store. **If you donate an item to the museum, you will need to sign a contract with us stating that you understand we will not sell your item. We will also be looking for collections someone is willing to loan us.
